I’m Pau Vázquez, a creative from Barcelona.
The language of images has always been my passion. As I kid, I used to travel into my inner world while looking through the window of my parent’s car, always drived by music.

Afterwards, I started filming skate videos with my friends through a domestic video camera with an attached spyhole, to simulate the fisheye effect.

           
 
I grew up and I graduated in Audiovisual Media by Pompeu Fabra's University. Since 2017, I’ve been working for 6 years on a marketing agency as a filmmaker, photographer, editor & director.

Some of the companies I've worked with are Estrella Damm, BBVA, Nike, Arc’teryx, Brownie, Ajuntament de Barcelona, FCB, Mahou, among many others.

I covered many different project styles; events, corporatives, aftermovies, social media ads, tv commercials, weddings. I’ve learned photography & videography at the same time during my journey, so I feel comfortable with both disciplines. 

I’ve always felt a deep connection with the sea, and I enjoyed spending hours and hours taking photos & videos underwater. This has been one of my biggest passions too.

Now I’m a certified Advanced Diver, and I’m able to do both photography & videography underneath the surface.

   
          


Nowadays, I put my energy into creating different projects, mixing different ideas & concepts that normally came from all my references in cinema, painting, design, sculpture, architecture, music, urban cultures...

I work as a freelance with different agencies, companies & individuals, directing the project from the idea.
